Healing Habitat on Cloverdale Coastal Ranches

Back in August, I joined a team from Go Native out on Cloverdale Coastal Ranches, one of POST’s largest coastal properties. Go Native, a company focusing on habitat restoration, has helped POST with several projects in the last few years. With their help, we managed to restore an old livestock pond choked by vegetation that had created unhealthy conditions for two species that call this pond home: Endangered San Francisco garter snake and Threatened California red-legged frog. Along with establishing a better habitat for these reptiles, Go Native also repaired the dam on the property.
